What's everyone's opinion on Duke? I know they tend to do pretty well in the ACC but not always spectacular in the NCAA. They have some beastly midfielders, but it dosn't seem to mesh with them...
Anyway, I plan on going to Duke next fall, and with a letter from Leif Elsmo and some decent skills (but mainly a strong work ethic) I'm hoping to get to play lacrosse at Duke...

Hey good luck man...I like Duke...not my favorite...but they do have a pretty respectable program...

Duke is a great school. They graduated alot of good player this year, and there top two attackmen transfered to other school, but many people think they have the best recruting class this year.

they have a few guys from the US u/19 team.
danowski is by far the best of them

Danowski was the MVP of the U19. He should start as a freshman and I could even see him being an All American if he plays really well.
My team's goalie has been getting heavily recruited by duke since he was a sophmore (he's a senior now), wouldn't doubt it if he goes there next year..

how good at lax do you have to be to get into duke. (dont know how you measure that) Also what grades do you need
you need Decent grades to get in out of state (A's, Mostly B's, maybe one C) you dont have to be ivy league material, and if you are an athlete things are lowered ALOT. in state is easier, i hear, as it is for most schools public and private.

You need close to Ivy stats for Duke, but if your getting recruited than the standards are much lower.

why would he go to duke with danny loftus there?
who? and Duke can't hold a candle to any ivy...except maybe cornell...ahah billy
