what do you guys think of the mohawk ti? its extremely cheap for a ti shaft...is it any good? I'm sure its strong, but judging from its price it probably has some weaknessess....i'm guessing it weighs a ton

I have one, and its great! It's like a Fatboy, but a lot cheaper, and maybe not quite as heavy.

As far as the weight - if you're not a noodle-armed wuss, its light enough. Its marginally heavier than some of the designer-alloy shafts, but it'll cost you half as much and last twice as long. Good buy!

This leads me to ask, has anyone here ever used a mohawk ti dpole? I'm in a tight spot for cash and am wondering is this thing better than a STX ti pole? Sorry to butt in on your thread.

I didn't know they made a d-pole. I thought their ti was only attack. So, no I haven't. Sorry.

One site that sells the Dpole (http://www.globallax.com/html/subcategory.asp?searchType=cat&catobjid=6&manuobjid=&promoobjid=&pageCount=2)
There was another however that was selling it for 80 that I can't find for the life of me now.

Mohawk Titanium shafts may have no warranty, but I haven't seen or heard of one break. They are one of the strongest ti shafts in the market.

so you're saying it's a good deal? i might try and find the cash for the dpole. ya'kno, to mess around with

i really am going to get a pole BUT i'm not sure if i want to lay down the $80 when i can put $20 down and get a pole just to mess around with. i'm thinking about layin down the 80 because say my coach wants me playin D i'll have a decent stick.

If you want a pole in that price range i'd go with a db803

Think twice about it.....shaft weight matters a lot more to a d-man.
