getting look see when my HS LAx team is mediocre?

Okay, some of you may have read my previous posts re: Chaminade/ ST. Ant's etc, etc. My question to you guys, particulary jrs./seniors in HS. What are you supposed to do when the public HS you may end up attending LAx team is, ok, not great, just ok. Plus with SOS (Strength of Schedule) does it mean that if you are good on a lousy team, will you ever get noticed. On this yrs. VSquad, only 2 players are getting a look see, the rest nada! I met the jv coach and the varsity coach already, very nce guys, both played college ball, but all they wanted to know, right away was where was I going to HS? Cathloic or Public? Then they went on for 10 min, "why waste your $ on Chaminade or St. Ant's and maybe never play? What do you guys think

If you are good enough then it doesnt matter if you are on a bad team. It certainly does help to be on a good team and be the best. If you went to a really good private school team you might learn a lot of good instruction and with the higher level of play, get better then you might normally get.
