I have played attack for two years and love playing their. This year I'm moving up to highschool lacrosse and I have a tough choice. I can play attack and prolly play first or second string on a freshman-sophmore team. I could switch and go mid which i hate but still prolly be like 3rd line midi on a JV team. any suggestions?

Been there done that except from HS to college. At Rutgers I had the choice of backing up an sophmore All-american or playing 2nd mid and start on EOM. Guess what I did.
Anyway, ended up prefering middie, it makes you feel like your playing the whole game, O & D.
My only advise is to play the position you're most comfortable with. If you don't like middie, you won't play at your best. Which means you won't play at all eventually.
Lastly, take your coaches lead. Ask him what he wants you to play and what position will most benifit the team. Coaches eat that up.

I would be in the same boat if i had the lungs for it, with my size so many people have told me i would make a great middy cuz im big and quick i just cant run up and down the feild the only time i get a break is when one of our D-poles calls middy back to run long pole middy.

Same with my son. He's an attackmen in 9th grade. Been playing attack since 2nd grade.
He also happens to be 5'-11" and 142lbs., a perfect middie size. He's pretty quick and fast but endurance is a problem. His stick skills are great so that keeps him playing. His select coaches always tell me that he probably will end up a middie because of his size, which scares the crap out of him at times. Time will tell and the choice might be the same as mine years ago. Play middie or don't play. I have him scheduled for a speed and strength trainer after football so who knows.
