ripping dvd's to computer...HELP!!

I just got an iPod video and i have no idea how to rip the dvd's i own to the computer and put them on the ipod. i know it needs to be in a different format but thats about it. someone help!! i have windows by the way

I don't think you want to put DVD's on your iPod video because once you start watching it, your battery is gonna drain like mad.

i have googled it and ive downloaded like two different programs and niether work. im basically computer illiterate haha

lol ummmm...try just finding movies on the internet, then converting them into .mp4 format. unfortunately, im not allowed to tell you where to find them
