Does anyone know of any sources of athletic performance data on lacrosse players?

Chris Carling, a Sports Science graduate of Liverpool John Moores University in the UK, who was one of the speakers at the recent European Lacrosse Convention held in Aachen, Germany at the end of May, is currently writing a book on the performance characteristics of field sports players.

Chris has asked whether anyone has or knows of any data relating to Lacrosse players, as the sport is not yet represented in the book due to a lack of available information!

The types of data he is looking for include information on physique (body shape studies for example), speed and general physical performance analysis and physiological data such as VO2 max. measurements.

Please contact Chris via David Turner at Euro-Lax GmbH if you think you can help.

Many thanks!

Apologies to the Administrators if this second post is contrary to the Forum rules, but I couldn't work out whether the first post was in the right place, or how I could move it!

There are many graduate level papers and dissertations on lacrosse athletes and various aspects of their physical fitness, body type, and various other athletic...things. A simple search in a university library should provide them. When I was in college I could pull up a number of studies and papers on this very subject through various academic research techniques.
