Does anybody know anything about this team? I see they are coming up to the West Genny Invitational on Saturday. My team will be there (Skaneateles). do they suck or what?

I think it is a select team, they should be pretty good, there supposed to have a bout 8-10 all state kids on it

they were horrible. 8-10 all-state kids isnt bad, but from georgia? i know one kid from the lovett school, an attackmen named owen _____. He was on my team at blue chip and he was pretty good

i know someone in Georgia who has played many teams in Atlanta, and he says they are really really fast, and then the conversation ended, hahahha, sorry might not be much help but i gave it my all :>

His name is Owen Green,and i dont think Atlanta elite couldve been that bad because they went 2-2 in the tournement

yea 2-2 isnt good if you have a team from an entire capital city

You have to consider that most of these kids have never played together before and they have been playing the game for at most 5 or 6 years. To come up to New York and compete against teams with players who have been playing together since they were in 3rd grade is quite an accomplishment.

Hey Army Lax,
Please be advised that the team that went to play in this so called Elite tournament were not even the best players in the state. The kids on this team are good but many of them are young and as Old Goat says have not played that long.
It is neat to see Teams from around the country play against some of the more traditional hot-beds. The Gap is closing. What we find down South is we have very good Athletes and up north they have better stick skills and overall LAX I.Q.
Places like CA, CO, Ohio and TEXAS continue to produce quality players and Georgia has produced players that have gone on to Notre Dame, UPenn, Yale, Bucknell, W&L, Gettysburg, Ohio Wesleyan, Lynchburg etc. These are some pretty good programs.
Just my 2 cents and Thanks Old Goat for pointing out the team.
