Warrior Stiffi Pics (in hand)

Ok guys, we've all seen the stiffi pics in magazines, catalogs, and game photos. But i dont believe anyone has taking the pictures with the stiffi in their possesion. So heres the story, one of my best friends dad owns the local lax shop. Warrior came in today to show their new products and gave him a stiffi. They said its the only stiffi theyve given out in FL. They told him to give it to his son .. Well he gave it to him, and he was at my house so recently when he was picked up, his dad handed it to him. I was there and obviously I thought TLF NEEDS SOME PICS! So here they are..

Note : mods this can be deleted if need be due to fact of pics of stiffi already being posted on here, but i think these might be a little better.

ccs- suprisingly the weight was way lighter than i excpected not the lightest thing out but not heavy.. the stiffness was a very melo-ness in between stiff and flexible.. i think its useable at all positions its stiff enough for d but does have some flex to it.. i actually think this could be a really really nice head.. o and the pinch is crazy

jmk - my first instinct when i saw it.. ( from 10 ft away ) without knowing it was a stiffi is that he had gotten a razer pro.. so yes the pinch is similar

etow - Eh, to my knoweledge from talking to my friends dad (owns a lax store ) who talked to warrior reps today there will only be an f-off not a 2.0 but i dont know 100%. Also the stiffi is very stiff.. if you like a stiff head for faceoffs.. then yea probaly would be.. my friend is stringing it now. Ill head over there and try it out later to give you guys a mini review..

oh wow, $130 is amazingly expensive. I don't think I've ever seen a head worth so much. Do you think this head is the real deal and will be a top head? Or is just a fluke and won't amount to much?

middieman - i like it a lot personally from my first instinct... however some of why i like it is probaly because it is not out yet.. so i dont know i think it will be considered a top 10 head..

i think it has the potential to be a top head but with a $130 price tag, it might be just a fluke. i dont know about you but im not willing to pay $130 for one lacrosse head

the stiffi isn't any better for defense than the revo 2.0 or pro! the scoop is NOT reinforced and will mush up from poke checks and because the stiffness of the sidewalls (they will not be able to absorb the shock) the scoop will be more prone to breaking then most heads!! i held one and it isnt much different from the razer pro 2.0. the only thing i can see the stiffness helping with (more so than other heads) is faceoffs (it wont warp or pinch)!

if you mean the head in all is wide.. its pretty pinched if you mean the top of the head is wide. that probaly is due to the 09 rules in which why they changed it.. but im not sure.

exactly what I was thinking, it might be a good head, but for $130 you could go out and get two Evo 2.o or even three original Evolutions.

earlier, some people have said that it's horrible for face-off's because it bends out of shape and stays like that because of the titanium in it. the same thing goes for throwing poke checks and wrap checks. one guy even said that he went to punch the pocket in and it bent out of shape. maybe this is a newer version that is a lot stiffer and more reinforced, but i'm still not getting it when it comes out.

that's exactly the kind of statement i was worried about when i heard about this head. good ol' warrior :nut:

on a relevant note, the pinch does look sweet, but i'll stay skeptical until i get a chance to see it in person.

It's all over that the stiffi's break because of where the titanium ends creates a high stress point. I think it's BS because I have a stiffi on my d-pole and the titanium doesn't really make it that stiff the titanium flexes just as much as the plastic it just makes the head more springy an when it flexes it springs back into shape. feel free to fire back with your thoughts i am interested in whats going around, possibly some pics or stories of a broken stiffi???
