pinched blade

heres the end result of me pinching my blade that i strung earlier. i know its not the best pinch job but it was my first try. so i just tied a string around it and put it outside for a day and this is what it looks like.

yea i concur take the flare out unless you FO anyways nice pinch its supposed to be just as hot tomorrow i think so you can just throw it outside again

put a pencil in the side wall hole then tie the string above that(on front)its hard for me to explain,so if you don't get it i could take pics of me doing it later

not bad at all you can try substituting a small piece of wood if you have any around aswell might be a little wider

try a longer pecil or a longer peice of wood like maki said

be careful not to make it too tight at the top....if its width is not 6.5" across the top its illegal

Its probably going to unpinch within a month. If you are trying to pinch it by leaving it outside it takes a long time.
im just not going to touch it for a few days and heat it up over the stove and then let it set, or let it be in the heat outside

its a little below 6 3/4 and when i take the string and pencil out im pretty sure it with release back out

i would but i dont want to take out the mesh. i think i might try that method when i get my brine motive i just won off ebay for 20 dollars

Just one day? That's a great pinch for only one day outside. Normally it takes me a few days to do that, but an excellent pinch nonetheless

thanks and yea i only left it outside for one day. it was in the sun the whole time at like 105 degrees
