first time ever ordering from jimalax, i got neon green capulation(sp?) and some royal blue 8d. question: is the capulation hard? also what do you think about their capulation and their 8d?

Catapultion is a thick hard mesh similar to American mesh

Jimalax Description:
Catapultion Mesh is the coated hard sibling of American Mesh. It provides a similar feel to Traditional Hard Mesh. However, like American Mesh, it is nearly twice the thickness of Traditional Mesh. Catapultion may be somewhat hard to break in, but once it is, it will hold its pocket through any and all elements of nature (excluding fire). Catapultion, put simply, is the ultimate in durability.

Edit: I haven't used either, I use 10d hard and mainly 6d

i didnt really like the catapultion, but im a semi hard mesh guy. i thought it wasway too hard for me.

but it still holds its shape.
i like it.

all their mesh is excellent, its just your preference

For me Jimalax's catapultion is great stuff. The pieces I've gotten all have broken in FASTER than their hard 10d, and they become more like a piece of soft mesh that doesn't stretch out at all. It also feels like it gets better hold than hard 10d. It's probably a because of the combination of it turning out a softer when broken in and that it's thicker mesh. I highly recommend it.

well I will be looking for it out on the field....I play for Hickman and I just ordered purple 8dimond mesh from jimalax and 100yards of side wall string. cant wait to play you guys again.

I personally love both of them. I actually asked them if they could double coat it, and It was the only thing in my stick all season. And it just so happens that my favorite piece of mesh is a piece of purple 8d. I only conditioned it once, and it's really nice. pm me if you need any help stringing it.
