On the bottom of his stick it has what i think to be leather But what do u think and if it is leather where can u buy it

It looks like really old tape to me. If it was leather then he most likely got it from some Indian Reservation or something.

i would be willing to be he is the ONLY guy in professional lacrosse who plays with an old indian stick in actual games. that's pretty tight.

but i think it's like really old grip, like what they put on tennis rackets or baseball bats, but really old.

in this picture he is using a regular stick...

Half the team used indian sticks. Nonetheless, it is still cool

Sigh... besides the fact that half of the Iriquois team used them during the World Championships, Canadian Box rules allow wooden lacrosse sticks. A handful of guys stick with the old school style and use woddies. In recent memory, I remember Sean Hill of Peterborough during the '05 Mann Cup using one. If you count goalie stick as well then well pretty much every goalie from minor to pro uses them in box.

It's not leather. You can see the same stuff near the top of the head.

thats during the world cup

its a picture of an iroqius player so its probably leather

it looks like sinew or leather, since he is an iriquois player i doubt he would put the modern invention of cloth tape on the not so modern wooden stick he is using

hes using modern shooting strings.
why wouldnt he use tape anyways?

That looks like tape thats been used for a while its on the top of the stick to. the tape on the top of my hockey stick looks like that.
