Are elastic shooters legal? Because I am thinking of putting 1 in my g-force but I'm not sure if it's legal or not.

hmm... restrictions? as in what can be in u'r stick and what can't? if so its kinda vague i think, i've realy never looked it up befor but i've seen things form hemp bands to plastic beads... i would follow the genral rule of anything that gives u and unfair advantage would be illeagal... i've heard of people trying to use elastic cord for sidewalls to make the pocket deaper while cradeling but leagal when being checked by an offical, this i would think is illeagal b/c u'r atempting to deceave(sp?) the offical... anything that can harm another player is a given... but this has me wondering myself... when i get ahold of my rulebook (deep in a bottomless hole somewhere in my room) i'll look to see if they have any guidlines to this
did u have any materials in mind?

Elastic shooters are legal, as are pockets made of non-mesh or non-traditional materials...I'll need to look up the rule, but e-lacrosse had that great article in regards to elastic shooters and never once said they are illegal, and GBlax sells a pocket called the Pouch: http://www.gblax.com/poDetailsList.cfm?ID=pouc
wouldnt that gait pocket creat a **** load of drag?

You have to wonder...I've never seen anyone, amateur or pro, using it...I kinda wonder how such a concept would work in a goalie head, though...Hmmmmmmm

Segment from Rule 1.7.1
"The net of the crosse shall be constructed of gut, rawhide, linen or synthetic material and shall be roughly triangular in shape."
Rule 1.7.2
"Any crosse in which the net is woven to the head in such a manner tha a lip or hook is formed that might ensnare the ball is illegal."
Segment from Rule 1.7
"crosses in which the construction or stringing at the bottom is designed to withhold the ball from play also are prohibited. Additionally, no player may use a crosse wthat has stringing that retards the normal and free dislodgment of the ball by an oponent...A crosse that has been altered in such a way as to give an advantage to an individual is illegal."
Segment from Rule 1.10.1
"No player shall wear or carry items that, in the opinion of the officials, endanger that individual or other players."
If I were to check a stick like yours, assuming it is legal to all other requirements the rubber part would be perfectly legal.
