Are my gloves too big?

I've got 13" defts, and I have about 1/4 of an inch of room between the very tips of the glove, and my fingertips. When I play, the glove, not being tight fitting, slides down, leaving about an inch of room between my fingertips and the tips of the glove. It's pretty annoying, and it makes it hard to keep the shaft in my fingertips.

Yes they are too big. Gloves should fit snuggly, and if they're really sliding down as much as you say, they seem way to big. But, if you're still growing and don't have money to throw around then getting a size too big might be better, as long as they don't get too annoying. You sound a lot like me. My gloves used to be too big and they slid a lot, but I'm still growing and couldn't get a new pair of gloves every year. What I did was put a small strip of tape around the middle and ring finger to tighten them so they wouldn't slide.
