curious questions

I'm an incoming freshman in the state of indiana and i have a couple of friends who have gone to the big big recruiting tournaments and they are getting recruited (yes out of the state of indiana) I was wondering how the coaches evaluate you. When they go and watch games do they have papers including team rosters and numbers and where do they get the contact information? Also, when i hear about these camps you have to be invited to do the letters just pop up in the air or do you have to really know a coach or do they look at your stats individually? if you cant understand some of the questions i am asking i can try to reword them.

i am gonna be a sophomore, and i was wondering alot of the same things you are...i think what they do is they first see game tape of your team. if he sees you and really likes you, he will probably fly out to watch a game or two of yours. not sure about the whole papers thing...probably.

but i have heard alot about this website where you make a profile all about yourself and coaches can look at you online too...

Those websites are usually scams to steal your money. I wouldn't recommend joining those. Go to recruiting camps your junior and senior summers like top 205, battle of the hotbeds, top star, Rutgers mvp camp, bucknell camp, etc.
