ok,i've been play for many years and have had many amps.But i have a question,if i buy just a head can i play threw that or do i need to get another cabinet.any help/advice would be great.

I'm pretty sure you need a cab. What head do you have/are getting?

yeah I think you need a cab.

you do need a cab, theres no speakers in a head, just the amp. usually try to stick with the same brand heads and cabs, but if you can get ahold of a marshall cab, or an old peavey, i highly reccomend it.

Marshall Lead mosfet 100 head
i sold my 1965 b 4x10 to buy it(gunna get it tomarro).the guy has 2 peavey cabs i might get one or both.i tought i needed a cab,but i didn't know for sure.thanks for the help.
