i was bored so i took my old stx ball hog and pinched it and restrung it, it came out awesome and the release/shot/pass's are great. would i be able to still use it though? i dont think theres a rule on it, but seeing its seen as a begginer type head, maybe it doesn't meet some of the requirments. o well, it still came out really good.

The old Ballhogs/HiWalls were legal just fine. The newer ones that are released have shorter shafts, which I think is what makes them illegal.
Check the dimensions with the rulebook. It's probably okay.
