possibly a PSP

I know there is the PSP megathread where you can talk about your PSP and what ya got with it but this is different. I was wondering if anyone has heard about a new one or anything similiar to ot coming out soon. I wanna know this cause the PSP is about 2 years old, so someone or SONY is due to come out with a new one. I just don't want to get one and then have something better come out right after. SO if anyone could tell me or show me an article that would be great. Also what good games are there besides madden and tiger woods?

yea there is going to be a new, slimer version of the psp coming out sometime this fall. GTA vice city stories is pretty fun

did you read the reviews on it, people don't seem to happy. Hmmm... Maybe I won't get a new one. It seems like i could get the old one and it is the same thing except slimmer, and a few new upgrades. Do you guys like yours?

well the new one is just ganna be a slimer with a couple new functions. the switch that was on the left hand side for your internet moved to the top. you can now change it through the usb on top in the center. you will be able to purchase a cord the hooks up to your TV and watch videos in 480P. D-pad and the analog stick are supposed to be better and more sensative. battery wil last about 2X as long. slightly bigger screen. twice the ram so your load times will be quicker. And for games i think oblivion is coming out a month or two after the new PSP comes out.

i wouldnt get it if i were you. my friend got one about a year or 2 ago and never really used it. the games suck. if i were you i would go with nintendo ds, it is a ton of fun with really good games.

No, in that pic, the black one is also from the new line (showing off all 3 available colors). I've seen the pic on both gamespot and the-magicbox. Look at the speaker placement, in all 3 it's been moved to the top of the screen, even on the black one.

Still going to be for around $169 for just the sytem, though there will be a limited Star Wars bundle for about the same price that includes a game.

If it goes to 150 it might then be worth it to be a new one. Untill then, I can deal with the flat black on the back, wifi switch on the side, and speakers on the bottom.

I honestly see no reason to switch either (better battery maybe, but I only play mine so much) and the tv cable sounds neat, but I bought the PSP for portable gaming, so that really doesn't appeal to me either since I don't use it for movies..and the PSP screen is better than the main tv in my house at the moment anyways...
