Favorite Madden Team

So to celebrate the release of Madden 2008 today, what does everyone like to use and why?

I'll start...I love using the Patriots because that is my hometown team and they are just straight up dirty, but my favorite team to use other than the pats are the Baltimore Ravens because of their shut out defense, and and they have a higher than average offense.

I usually use the falcons because I like to run with Vick, but because of recent events I don't think I'm gonna do that anymore.

Yea i totally agree with you, if you can win games with teams like the Raiders and the Texans then you are a true Maddenite, but if you can't beat kids with teams like the Patriots and the Colts then you have problems.

yeah. i used to be a huge Raiders fan when they still had Gannon, but after i went to my 1st giants game they became my favorite team. and + being on the east coast the raiders are only only on tv maybe twice a year here
but i'll play with them every now and then

on xbox live ill play with the saints or redskinks. i play with the redskins more though. I don't know why, but i just love the skins' offensive playbook.So i will use san diego and use the skins' playbook. Or i will play with the reskins and use the cowboys' playbook. The cowboys have a good one too.

im a fan of either the bengals or the bears. rudy always gets the job done, houshmendzedah is nuts and oh yeah, that chad johnson guy is ok, i guess. and the bears have a brick wall for defense. and ive just always been a fan of the bears, its a family thing.

I always use the Skins. Too much love. Plus, they have plenty of talent, so its easy to play with them.

Plus, with all the fumbling problems in teh game being attributable to fatigue, using a two back system should be amazing.

Merriman accidentally took steroids from vitamins from a weird company. He is trying to get a lawsuit into action because they sold him contaminated vitamins.

Anyways, I like to use the Chargers or the Redskins.

I play with the Cowboys.They are my favorite team. TO is a freak when it comes to deep passes. Roy Williams with a hit stick is almost a guranteed fumble. That is why.

I play with the Saints. You gotta know how to alternate Reggie Bush and Duece McAllister, as well as take advantage of the speed they have at receiver.

Yea i like to run with Bush and Brees is just a breeze playing as. Also I wish you could get the atmosphere of the first game back in the superdome for every home game you play as them.

Agreed, LT can do anything while playing and also as you play with him on Madden. Also I love Merriman(even though he took steroids) and Jammer. you can never go wrong playing as the Saints or Chargers

I believe him because he is a really nice guy. He has a coat drive for poor/homeless kids every year during basketball season.

yeah, he is a really good guy. He was really cool when i had him sign my Maryland Shirt and i talked to him for about 10 minutes, he shook my hand when he had to go and everything, hes down to earth. It would have sucked to have his childhood though, like 4 different houses he had all burned down

i paid like $52.50 or something. But i got it for PS2 and im sure its more expensive for 360.

Well it sucks because everyone thinks I'm a bandwagon jumper cheering for the Colts. As a kid, I always liked Peyton Manning, so they were my favorite team. At our school the track coache's son played cornerback for them (#42 Jason David) but this off-season he signed with the Saints, so I torn between the Colts and Saints (Which makes me look like the biggest bandwagon jumper ever).

So after playing for almost two days I've decided using the Pats is just unfair cause if your in a tight situation you can just bomb it to either Donte or Randy and they will basically catch it every time.

So I've started using the Rams and the Saints alot. I am in love with the Reggie/Deuce tandem, but i usually just throw Deuce at FB and use Reggie for my speed back and use Deuce to power it up the middle. And with the Rams you can just use Steven Jackson to run over people. And i have to say that Madden 08 is the best football game made yet...i can't even imagine how good it is on 360. (i only have a ps2.)

i love using the steelers 1 since i live in Pittsburgh and ward, parker, and santino holmes are great in the game. and rothlisburger can run pretty well 2.

other then the steelers i love to use the falcons because vick is so fast and i like to scramble them pass hes great for that. i also like using the saints and panthers though too

i usually use a different team every time. but i like more of the high powered offenses, like cincinnati, san diego, and a couple others. and i love playing with the eagles cause they are just the best

i always play with the dolphins in '08 cause they have the best linebackers (Porter, Thomas, Taylor) and have Trent Green and Ronnie Brown. I like them cause they aren't rated high (78) but i am still nasty with them on defense and screen passes.
