today(wednesday) is the third day of school for me and i'm already getting bored in class.:imparied:
so i had the dying urge to string a stick. i took my head(unstrung) out of my locker and i decided to string a pocket34 in it. since i didnt have a drill on me at school, i couldnt drill the extra hole, but it still throws perfectly.

the funny thing is during lunch me and my friends eat lunch in my coaches room, well today during lunch, lyle(creator of the p34) came in and came to talk to me and my friend who play for his summer league as well as my coach. what a coincidence that i strung a stick invented by him and he came to vist me today? pretty fun time nonetheless.

i used am17's glove pocket tut, but its not technically a correct triangle topstring but i couldnt care less.

I wish our teachers were lenient like that to not notice. If you so much as put your head down you get caned. But I guess it does help us do this thing called learning, pointless.

But on the pocket, looks excellent, and I like the color combo.

im usually not a fan of p34's, but that one looks nice. yeah ive tried to string during class a couple times, but i usually get busted so i stick with studyhall

they are rolled. in the p34, you roll the shooters in one row of diamonds., not the normal two. :dummy:, which makes them look weaved.

sounds like a good story, I wouldn't know if lyle actually came because i dont eat my lunch in our coaches class, but i can say that there is a pretty good clhance that this happened. good pocket

hmmm maybe ill try this with my new coach in my new school this year just carry a empty head some mesh (or crosslace) and leathers and try and get away with it sports students are highly regarded at this school lol although my biggest class will probly be 15 kids lol

i know theyre rolled. i always thought that for the p34 they were rolled across 2 rows. but xxlacrossexx corrected me...i had no idea. when i strung my first p34 i did that and i was told i was wrong...now i know that i was right.

if i understood correctly, you thought that for the shooters, that you're supposed to use rolled shooters that take two rows of diamonds.

well no, you're supposed to roll them over one row. plus, rolling over two rows makes the "U" asymmetrical.

canes - p34 for sure. it has the hold of a love pocket, but it's easier to pass with.

love it i strung my nitrous it looked identical to that expect for the top string but i changed it bc it had to much whip for me(i like gaint pockets with little to no whip)

yup that would be my thread. im not exactly sure when the thread will be made but i know it will be made.
i can call him and ask exactly whne when he might be done with it. he said he wanted to include alot because there is so much information behind the differnt stringings. plus he does have other things to do other than write some thread for tlf.
but i will ask him, and get back to everyone.
