My torque has been giving me a ton of problems with lip. I've put in a triangle topstring, a tight nylon and three weaved shooters. I've tried messing around with all the shootrs tightness, and nothing seems to be working. It's still giving me lip after all that. How should I fix this?

are you sure it's lip or do you mean excessive whip?

it's hard to see what the problem is without pics. you did all the things that you should have done to fix the problem, but i dont see why you arent seeing results.
pics would help alot.

Is your pocket really deep to tight shooters? Cause with the setup you have it doesn't sound like a lip problem. Get those pics up and I'm sure someone will find ot the problem.

I don't think it's whip, because every time i shoot or pass with it I feel it hit the scoop.

Hmm tighten all the shooters up gradually so that the tightest is at the top.

P.S. Delet one of your posts

it doesnt look like it has any lip at all. try to roll the nylon instead of weave it, it should hold it from shifting up and down which leads to inconsistancy.

restring the topstring so that the top of the mesh covers about half the top of the scoop, this, logically, increases shot speed, aswell as getting rid of whip.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting lip from my stick. I feel the ball hit the scoop almost every time I throw with it. Then again, it's possible it's whip too, because the pocket shoots down a ton. If that's the case, what should I do?

uhm lip is tricky its different it could be from loose sidewalls to the topstring looks pretty tight just pull that sucker as tight as it goes and for whip loosen the shooters a bit but that might make your stick lip even more as stated above swithch to rolled it usually gets rid of whip and well stop the nylon from moving

Switch all shooters to rolled instead of weaved. Also loosen your shooters a bit, make sure that your top most shooter (closest to the scoop) is tightest then make sure the next few are looser.
Also I would like to say that sometimes because of the V shaped scoop it causes more lip then a flat or rounded scoop.

i suggest 4 rolled shooters and a nylon really close to the top. and do the goal-ex style topstring, i use that now and i love it because not only do you reduce chance of lip, you save string too. and czech is right, ive had more lip problems with torques than any stick due to the v scoop.

Ok. So, I think I'm going to go backand do a goal ex topstring, and roll at least the top nylon. I'll try it out, and it that doesn't help I'm going to roll all the shooters. Thanks everybody.

Just to let everyone know, I put i nthe Goal-ex topstring, rolled, thenylon, and took out the bottom straight shooter. All my problems with the stick were fixed. It throws great now.

put another nylon above the nylon u have now...the nylon that you put above it...make it tight and that should solve your problem
