yeah i tried to follow a tutorial but when you have to double back(esentially makeing the triangle) it wouldn't come out right

You dont really need to double up for the torque. Just interlock and use holes where you want the pocket. Look at the Laxstore tut for the triangle topstring.

i was talking about the topstirng. i doubled up where i wanted the pocket to be and that seemed to work

Your sidewalls look messed up. You need to fix those.
For the topstring do yo umean you wont be bale to fit the string throught? Three strings go through each holes that you use for the topstring. You just need to push the string through.

no, after i strung it thorugh on one side left to right, then your supposed to go back correct? it just wasnt comeing out right. whats wrong with the sidewalls?

eh, it is very messy. I know you looked at tutorials, but I'd take another look and really try to neaten it up. The sidewalls seem really loose and messy, so you should clean those up. And I'm not sure what you mean by doubling up the topstring, but I don't think you need to do that. Just follow the tutorial and it should work out fine. Which tutorials were you looking at by the way?
EDIT: and try to break that mesh in a lot more for a deeper and better pocket

use this tutorial for sidewalls, http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=57523
and use this tutorial for the topstring only, http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=22944
And to me it looks like you didnt stetch your mesh enough, when you stretch the mesh stretch it as much as possible, for a minumim of like five minutes.
Oh, also you are doing the shooting strings wrong, go to the mesh stringjobs sticky, and examine those, you will get it right.
Hope this all helps.

alright well I know everyone is saying "look at the tutorials"
You should do that but also look at a stick that throws like you want it to and try to copy it.
Also once you learn to do the top string make sure its tightt
good first try and keep on truckinn

also i would say for your topstring u should probably learn how to do it normally first before you go trying the triangle topstring. i'm sure that that one of oranges tutorials shows u how to do that. but hey thats a lot better than my first stringing. and that pocket you have isnt a bad thing you might not like it but as you get better at this you will learn how to string tons of different kinds of pockets and whatnot so dont worry about the shape of it just worry about getting the stringing part done right.

Doesn't really look like it worked lol. Your pocket is pretty shallow, go read oranges doubling up tutorial and the top string tutorial. I would say start over with the whole thing, it'll come out much better the second time I think. Also, from the pictures it looks like you used 2 strings for each sidewall, did you?

thats what you're supposed to do in a double sidewall
its a string job, but deffinately not the prettiest.
i would take it all out, and start over and string more cleanly. the topstring is done wrong, but we have a tut on that(and the double sidewall).
on your shooters, i would tighten the rolls alot, it'll cause too much friction and make you lose shot speed.
it pretty bad, but it can all be simply fixed.
nice attempt

well you gave a valiant effort, but it didn't turn out too well. stick to a normal topstring before you go to triangles. use the tut list, it helped me out greatly. the rolling of your shooters is a little sloppy, too. nice attempt for a first time, but you really gotta use the tut list.
