The pocket forms naturally by the way you string it and where it breaks in.

it depends on how you string it

it depends on where you double up. i looked at the tutorial yesterday in the tutorial section of this forum, i think it is called the tutorials list, it is a sticky. And even though i already knew how to double up, i realized that this tutorial was very well put-together. You should follow that tutorial. I believe it is from orange. And its called doubling up with 10 d or something close to that.

Naturally, it will form where ever the tightest part of the pinch is. So with the Proton+, it should form a mid-low pocket, naturally. Just like the Helix naturally forms a mid high pocket because thats where the pinch is.

With doubling up and such, you can put the pocket close to where ever you would like it though.

thats not always true, stx heads have a foreward cant offset, which pushes the ball higher asa you cradle, it doesnt really matter where the pinch is, a deuce, primer, and proton+ will all push the ball high as you cradle no matter what the pinch is.

doubling up is the way to place a pocket

Yes, as he cradles. That wasn't the question though.
