my friend went to a tennis shop for rents tennis racket, and they got some
pretty cool ideas. Rackets are really advanced.
Now if we could incorporate that into lax, like
thiers a thing where theirs a tiny chip that sends electric impulses along the racket to deaden ball rattle and stiffen the head/racket.
dunno about that one, but they also got something called the
"sweet spot suspension" its like kinda the prophecy without the fingers, it does something about tightning the strings where its needed to guide the ball to the sweet spot.
One more thing would be to add titanium strands inside the plastic to increase durability, etc.
Just and idea.

dude all that new stuff is gay, liek the prophecy and the liquid, that stuff looks so stupid, that new stuff isnt good quality either..
A kid on my team broke two G forces in about a week.....which really sucks
and the other question is. do you want to invent something that totally revolutionizes lacrosse? that makes it so any kid can just pick up a stick and be good? or do you want it to be challenging, where you are respected if you have good stick skills and such.........think about it

also keep in mind that if everything was all technological, what would make the sport difficult? those are great ideas, but they aren't nessasary (Sp) the titanium thing would be a good idea, except no matter what the matterial is, it will break if it's small enough, but it would give a bit more life... maybe someone will do something like that...

i think someday, not today, but someday maybe they will incorporate that into lax sticks. i dont think the lax world is big enough to make that kind of step. sounds cool though
yeah, without advancement, i'd have no fun spending time all day on lacrosse equipment. as it is it's not fun enough. so, here's to advancement. and no, there will never be equipment good enough that will MAKE a person better. the equipment can only help. equipment cannot do work for you; it can only make things easier and simpler.
I think reinforcing a head with Ti would make it heavy.
The serious tennis players I know tell me the high dollar, top of the line racquets are made for the weekend warrior types with a lot more money than talent. The best tennis pros in the world don't care for things like super wide bodies and monster sweet spots. I remember hearing a lot about how Pete Sampras used a racquet model that had been long discontinued. And guys like Andy Rodd!ck don't rely on racquet technology to deliver 150+ mph serves.
Don't confuse technological innovation with gimmicks. E.g. open sidewalls and offset = innovation. Swinging sidewalls (Liquid) and elastomer fingers (Prophesy, Edge X) = gimmicks.

they have that with baseball too they have bats that when you hit the ball with it it dents then the dent pops back out and makes the ball go further (the bat is called like the liquid metal)

sounds very high tech it confused me but i think lax is good the way it is we dont need technology to be good and for those that do shouldnt be playing
