View Full Version : lesing weight(if you know alot about trianing please take a look)

Well I’m wrestling this season and our season starts Nov 15 so I have like 5 weeks to get ready I currently weigh 150-155 and I’m a little under 6 feet tall like 5 11 id say and I need to get stronger while losing all the extra body fat I have. I want to try to wrestle at the 145 weight class (145 and under) so if you have any hints or tips or suggestions it would be great after weigh ins I know what to do because of all the other threads but I haven’t seen one that has completely answered my question I’m starting now so I can do it healthy because I know I can drop the weight unhealthy but id like some hints on staying healthy getting stronger and losing weight if this is at all possible

Very easy. Run a lot with a sweat shirt and sweat pants eat 4-5 meals a day small meals. excersise a lot less weight wrk outs mroe cardio. Drink tons of water. Believe it or nto the mroe water you drink the more water weight you lose. Stay away from carbs. YOu can have some just not in a excessive amount. Also DONT STARVE YOURSELF YOU WILL GET A HIGHER BODY FAT %!! 5 weeks should be easy to drop 10 lbs.

everything he said and also take a multivitamin. you still need the vitamins and minerals that you got with your other diet.

dont wear those vinly suits that make you sweat a lot. there was a kid at my school on the varsity football team that wore one of those and died of heat stroke

That's just plain insane to wear a vinyl sweat suit. They have zero breathibility.

You don't understand. The vinyl suit has zero breathibility. It heats the air between the suit and your body like a furnace. You can get heat stroke very easily and die doing this. Wear cotton jogging suits and pant's. Their thick enough to make you sweat double time, but light and breathable enough so you don't pass out as easily.

why do u want to sweat at all? i say polyester sleeveless all the way.

lol @ water weight. besides adding pounds of weight... that water does something else you know? its called keeping you alive. if you sweat alot u better drink alot.

i m losing like half a pound every 3 days so im good ill be down to 145 for wrestling
