Take your feet, put one on each side of the head where it starts to widen out. Sit on a chair/couch. Pull.

EDIT: I ddin't see the stripped screw part... My bad.

Yea, you have to put the shaft one your shoulder and dodge the shaft as it comes up... But that doesn't do anything if the screw is stripped.

if your saying is that the screw is stuck inside teh shaft and cant get it out. the best idea is use pliers

I'm assuming the solutions would work the same.

i am not sure the screw is stripped cause i can still get a screw driver in and twist it but the screw doesnt go up or down it just spins in the hole

Oh. Well, I'm not sure then. Maybe the twists on the screw are worn down?? It sounds like if it justs twists then you should be able to get it out with some pliers.

yea ive had the same problem before you turned he screw into much and now its stuck. well from teh title of the thread your lax head is still on your stick which is troublesome in taking it off. But if you don't have your head on take pliers and grab on to the screw inside the shaft. Push up and while doing this take your screwdriver and trying getting it up.(hope that makes sense) But if you do have your head on get a very small flat head driver and get it underneath the screw and use leverage and push it up while also using a screw driver getting it up. (hope that made sense too) Hope that helped kinda. lol

lol n/p. I remember how mad I got when I did the same thing as you. Took me thirty minutes to figure a way to get the screw out.
