Ive been making some carbon fiber goalie thumbs and decided Id offer them to you guys. But, before I go out and make a ton of them, Id like to ask you guys some things.

A-Would you guys buy them?
B-Does $35 Shipped for 2 thumbs made and installed be too much?
C-Would you mind sending me your gloves for 2 weeks?

Thats all I need. They would be 2 ply Carbon Fiber molded over a super thin plastic core. No taping needed. They would be applied right to your thumbs.

Im making Endles some tomarrow or Tuesday. Ill pst of pics then.

Oh man, I forgot to ask that. Are mine gonna be free guinea pigs, like I do with the shafts? Or will I actually have to...gasp. pay?!

ya man i would definetly do that.

one suggestion would be to do it per thumb because most goalies only need it on their top thumb

Oh snipes!, if I put these on some Super Freak II's all white, with the silver accents if I order them that would look amazing.

But it would take 2 weeks for them..? Hmm..

once i saw this thread it inspired me to do some thumbs on my gforces, detachable of course....once my sis gives me here camera ill post pics in a new thread. we should definetely start the "post your personal goalie thumb creations" thread or something like that. basically i took my old deft cuffs and cut them up, used an old invalid car license plate, hot glue, velcro, and the little double sided tape pads and i was pretty set...the thumb is rock solid and should work very well. at the moment i only have it on my right hand because its my top...i dont think im gonna make for my other hand.

I believe there is a thread already like that. Could we see photos? What would be the difference betweent these and the STX attachment?

There would be a 1 week turnaround for the install. I usually make em on the weekends then ship them next day. Dont know why I typed 2...

I could make them detachable, but I wouldnt see the point. Specify, if you want them installed or not and Ill kick a few bucks off. Im making Wiz's after my Math is done. haha.

pics would be nice, and i also even though i know you run a business and are very trusted on the forums i just wouldn't really feel right sending you my gloves for 2 weeks but it sounds like a good idea and the price seems fair. How are you installing them on the gloves?

Here are some pics of the thumb made for my G-Forces. Its very nice, and formed perfectly to fit the contour of the oddly shaped triangular thumb.

they look very nice and professional but look like they would come off with one good shot to the thumb (I probally think this cause I havent seen them in person). How did you attach them?

Bumping this up, I'm kinda interested in putting them on some white G forces, or Kings now that Christmas is coming up. Endles have you taken a shot to the thumbs yet? How durable are they?
