the ignite goalie shaft is the best if your looking for weight. it is probably the same as the 803 or lighter but its only 40-50$ i love it. i just cut it down because a friend of mine told me too i cut it down to 35 in. and i have an eraser on it and it clears great and i think the two are a great combo. i say get this instead of the 803 if your looking for weight because this shaft is amazingly light and cheap

Generally a review has more information. Also you might include a previous setup so we have some base line to compare it with.

honestly i dont know why everybody whines and complains over a couple ounces. i dont care if a shaft is 4 ounces less than this one or whatever. i too like the ignite, however i like it because it has a very similar feel to my old klyte.

i used to use a sentinel 803 and i heard the eraser the eraser was as light but stiffer so i bought it and my 803 was a little messed up from playin in the side yard and comin out and putting checks people so i got an ignite and the the weight is generally similiar and the eraser is stiffer than the sentinel and i was very happy with that. so i waited for my ignite to come and i got it and i felt as though it was the best priced shaft ever with how light and cheap it is

My Ignite was covered in dents and dings from tapping the posts, and from the ball hitting it. Then it finally just snapped in half when i put my gear bag on top of it when I was putting it in the trunk of my car. I hate the Ignite, because it is about as durable as a soggy piece of paper.

the grip is exactly like all of brines sticks except ther powergrips and comfort grips. it is very sleek with gloves so i would tape is where you dont like your hands to slide

So wait, are you saying the eraser is as light as the sentinel? Little hard to read without periods...

Ignites are horrible, they too weak and feel weak in your hands.
