A lot of people in my Box league seem to think that my Finalizer w/ Kryptolite Co45 is more of a field stick, and the majority play with G-Forces or Profiles. What is your favorite Box Lacrosse head?

Box lax.
You're gonna need a sturdy head with good hold and sick pinch.
I guess you could get an evo pro, I got one, stiff and most legal pinch.
G-force would be good for sadistic player, those teeth hurt.

Isn't that why they put the overmold on the new ones?
I need a sharpened G-Force...

Rules say that altering your equipment in anyway is illegal... we get away with pinching, we couldnt get away with that after the first time you draw blood. Seriously, the 03 model is fine w/o the mold. Still hurts, still stiff and still legal.

I'm not sharpening it THAT much. Jesus, do people make them razor sharp?

You talkin to a dude that used matal wire as a side was string and then got ejected for cutting someone with it, that sounds like something i would do.

Mohawk are the only heads for box.
STX and DeBeer can also be made to work. Brine and Warrior are too delicate.

brine too delicate......warrior, the problem is you have to pinch them soooo god damn much........mohawk are indeed ok, but i think i will rid of mine soon, I am looking forward to the penitrator,,,,....reasonx box has a sweet pinch to it, but it was sooooo stiff that it snaps easily....so, hopefully this warrior is narrow as heck, but with soem give in the plastic to either take hard checks or pinch it further more to my liking,,,,
Might I suggest the g-force personally, great head, illegal here though....

Do ya'll think an STX Powerplay would fit on a Kryptolite C4o5?

the powerplay would fit on any shaft. I would suggest an edge plus, you can get em on ebay for like 10 bucks. Pinch it alot and its sweet. Its not too heavy and its really stiff to begin with.

I'm starting to think the same way you are in getting a really cheap head and pinching it so that the ball will sit enough so that it will clear the sidewall lines and that's it. I've played field my whole life and never even considered pinching any of my field sticks, however, I was messing around with my old Edge with the oldschool F-10 aluminum and pinched it so much that I had to take the old roto whizzer to the sidewall holes (because they flare out quite a bit). Sweet accuracy from a 75 dollar stick combo ($75 back in 2000).

I use a pinched Proton on a kryptolite shaft... Pronton's that are pinched are a very popular head here.. make sure you have a stong shaft or it will bend when cross-checking... I would use a stronger shaft but my pocket book won't allow it... I have already used up my warranties on the kryptolite so maybe next year I will upgrade... aluminum shafts are out of the question... they bend with one hard check...

Yeah, I was about to say, didn't warrior come out with the penitrator? It's the box vesion of the finalizer. Really stiff I heard, and yeah it's supposed to be pricey, all warrior stuff is.
