Should I get new iPod touch now???

I just checked the Annapolis Apple Store and the guy said they get shipments every day so I am seriously considering getting one this week.

I have seen that people have said the blacks in the videos looks like crap. Should I go buy one now or wait until they fix the bugs???

I may just buy one if I ask and they say that if there is a problem I can return it with no restocking fee and get a new one or if the second one is screwed up I can get my money back. Would they do this???

the nano with the video seems to small to watch movies on it so pretty much pointless to me and 8GB doesnt sound too much

go for it. mine is the bet ipod i have ever owned(mini, 20g bw, nano 1, video, touch. it is the [poop]. this girl i know also has one that isnt broken.

It will look cool to have, but its not a great buy, the biggest one only has a 16 gig HD, hardly enough space imo....

i was actually thinking the new 8gb one would be perfect for me, i only have like 6 gigs of music and a bunch of pictures and no videos so it would be enough space, your pretty much just buying the cool factor, theres better deals out there space/money wise. i'd say wait awhile and get the 2 year extended warranty with it too.

just go to your local apple store and look at the videos. see if the blacks do like bad.

ipod touch isnt worth it. there are other choices like the sony mylo. same thing except mylo you can get memory cards and it isnt touch screen

I am pretty sure I know what I will do. I will get one but before I do I will talk to the manager and tell him about the problems like the screen. Only if they say that they will either exchange it or refund it with no restocking fee will I actually buy it.

If it is picture prefect I will do a review on it for everyone else. From the iPod touch!!! lol

Someone posted on a website that his was screwed up and he called apple and they said they would overnight a box to him. He would overnight it to Apple for a fix or a replacement and then Apple will overnight it back taking up a max of like 2-3 days. AWESOME SUPPORT!!!

i just got one and its absolutely amazing, the blacks dont look like crap and its very smooth to use(if that made sense)

Anyone have a clue if any of the other new IPODS have flash memory like the touch? The disk memory in the old regular ones was a pain because it messed up when you ran with it.

ok, here's the deal. anything with a lot of memory is hard drive. small amount of memory is flash. end of story.

try em all out. I want the touch, but its expensive and doesn't have enough memory. I won't be getting one for a while.

On the other hand, the iPod Classic is really nifty. Very thin, and tons of memory. I'll never need 80 GBs, but this way I could load a ton of videos and never have to worry about it.

Yup. I'm calling tomorrow to reserve a 16GB one so I can pick it up on Thursday. If my dad's friend's house has Wifi I will do a review on it on here for everybody.

im defeintely getting that now...my zen vision:m is pissing me off, it keeps freezing and it looks crappy.

this is kind of like an xbox 360 situation....do you get it when everyone is sending them back because of the problems or do you wait till they release the new ones with out the problems so you dont have to send it back and wait weeks at a time to get it back.

Apple is pretty notorious for having bad beta-testing for ipods. Wait a couple months, and then buy it.

Sure you can trade it in later if you get a bad one, but I would rather just not deal with that and wait a little while.

16 gigs is fine for me. Its not like you can go through 16 gigs on the battery life... Also when u are uploading videos you should be resizing the screen and that shrinks the movie size file. So i don't see why you guys are fussing.

I got my iPod touch. It has no problems and is awesome!!!

I am on it right now!!!

my dad has an ipod touch,, so i get to pretty much play with it whenever, and let me tell you this.
It is amazing.
