This thread will remain its own thread for 1 week then will be put into the master FS/WTB sticky.
New Rules:
-When a title is improperly stated you will have 1 day to PM me to fix it. After that, it will be deleted, and will recieve warning points.
-When you forget to post prices, you will also have 1 day to PM me. After that, your thread will be deleted, and you will recieve warning points.
-When you need a thread closed, PM me! Dont say, ''Mods close other threads'', I have better things to do than search for your old thread. You must PM me the links to the threads, I will ignore the lazy plea ''...close my threads'' and treat it like you had more than 2 active threads.
-If you do not have anything relatively related to the FS/WTB/etc thread, your post will be deleted.
-Now, if I find something wrong with your thread, not only will I just close it, I will delete all of your items so people cant see them.
Please, if you feel there is any other blatant things missing, please, please PM me/post here.

How about if you say in the thread could you close this thread, and this thread and you post links for the threads rather than PMing you. Im not gonna lie, but the last time I PMed a mod asking them to close a thread, or change a title, they never did it

because you are one of the few people that when they are new to the site, read the stickies.
and its not a sudden strictness, he is actually being more lenient (sp) because it used to be that if you posted the title in the incorrect format, it was automatic warning points.

As far as Im concerned (And I am entitled to my own opinion) the FS forum was never taken care of. When I came into play it was my job to clean it up and thats what Im doing. I may seem strict but, everyone will get it right eventually. Another thing that really helps is the Report button. Use it!

So if we see one of the threads with an improper title/no prices etc we are supposed to report it? I thought it was just for spam and such but I guess not.

i just wanted to clear up what this meant.
There are alot of ppl selling non lacrosse related items on the forums, is this what your talking about?

no i think it means like if someone is selling a blade or x2 for like 120 and you say "they only cost 75 in stores" i think that is what he means.

You do it by not asking how to become a mod. Just try to be the best poster that you can be. I don't mean suck up to kids and mods, but try to be helpful and provide good information without getting into a lot of confrontations and you may someday be nominated by another moderator.

would it be wrong if you see a newer member like myself or any member for that matter without prices to pm them and tell them they need prices and tell them to read the stickies and what not ? or should we just report people.

It goes to the moderator of the particular forum via email, no other mods. So if you see a big problem that needs to be fixed asap, better off PMing a supermod/admin if they are online, they are the ones with domain over all forums, but they will not be notified unless you pm them

Effective Immediately all threads that have any sort of “mods close my threads” or mods close this thread followed by a link will receive points. If any mod or I see any more of this you will be awarded points as if you had to many open FS threads. You MUST PM a mod and ask them to close the thread.
No warnings, No pleas of ignorance, this has been a rule for a while but apparently some of you have forgotten

Most places don't have as much traffic as we do, especially in their Classified forums. I respect your opinion and suggest and am merely offering mine as well. Keep it as it is.

and PRICES of items you are selling
those who DO NOT have these things will have there thread closed and will not be allowed to open another for a undisclosed period of time
I am tired of closing threads and handing out points for you guys not reading

Agreed,It gets annoying when you see someones thread without prices, ask them what they want for something, then they say "make an offer" Then when you do, they always complain they want more money..
Good to see someone stepping up to the plate to lay out a rule..
