i jus strung my nemi an' wen i finished
i was just going over a guide i found online
and it said to put the rough side to the back of the head
an after reading this i notice mine was 'backwards'
..

so wat i want to know is
is there any real diffrence or advantage to
putting the smooth side up
?

(if that makes any sense)

thanx for any replies

the rough side of mesh is supposed to be the side where you catch and throw. the smooth side on back

If you are using one of the varieties of hard mesh (20d, 14d, 12d, etc.) which side is in really doesn't matter that much. The side that you choose to use really only affects you when you are using soft mesh which conforms to the ball much more than hard mesh ever could.

the rough side of the mesh provides SLIGHTLY more grip on the ball than if you were using the smooth side of the mesh..other than that...uh,,,they said it

like everyone else, its doesnt matter, but think of it this way. slippery side, means less grip (why would you want that?) and if you look at fresh piece of mesh it curls so the slicker side is not facing you... also who strings the slick side up as a goalie? look at every goalie in history all used grippy side...haha kidding but seriously look around, very few ppl use the slick side
