Liddell vs. Jardine: This is a tough fight to pick. Both Liddell and Jardine are coming off of losses. This fight will not last long. Jardine is at his best when he is attacking. Unfortunately, Liddell is at his best when his opponents rush him. Whether or not Jardine rushes Chuck will depend on his camps strategy. If jardine can ake Chuck down - which no one has done since Randy Couture - this fight might be interesting. As it stands (and knowing Jardines piss poor camp) he will probbaly eat a right straight counterpunch and go sleepy time. Chuck, KO, round 1.

Griffin vs. Shogun: Shogun is one of the few fighters in the world that lives up to the hype. It's too bad the UFc hasn't hyped him AT ALL in this fight. Rua will annihilate the former UFC posterboy in the second round and secure his title shot. Griffin's last fight was absolutely unwatchable. Forrest got KTFOed by Jardine 2 contests ago and lost everything but his sense of humour. Shogun by murder, round 2 (only because Shogun will enjoy punishing Forrest for being a ginger. Brazilians do not like the gingers).

Fitch vs. Snachez: I hate diego Sanchez. He is an arrogant fighter with no personality and a Jesus complex. The fame of being a TUF fighter has gone to his head. Sanchez was bested by the highly overrated josh koscheck in his last fight, and then blamed it on a staph infection. Wow, maybe you SHOULDN'T HAVE FOUGHT IF YOU HAD A STAPH INFECITON, DIEGO. His ego wouldn't let him drop the fight and Koscheck bored him to a decision win with takedown after takedown and weak punches ot his trash stash. Diego will have his hands full with Jon fitch the most UNDERrated 170lber in the UFC. People talk about Fitch's win streak, I'd rather talk about his mean streak and how he is grossly underpaid. He wins this fight, hes in the title picture. title picture means cash money. Simple as that. The former Purdue wrestling star will take this fight, but he will need 3 rounds and the judges to do so. Fitch, by decision (split).

Nakamura vs. Machida: Machida is the Floyd Mayweather of MMA - if Floyd Mayweather was mute. And humble. And not a toolbag. Machida grinds out wins. It will be tough to counter-fight his way to a win against Nakamura (a powerful Japanese wrestler from PRIDE), but he will do it anyway. Snoozefest decision win for RYOTO: "lyoto".

Tavares vs. Griffin: I think Griffin is the biggest dude at 155 in the history fo the world. His kneebar on Frankie Edgar in Edgar's debut was the stuff of legend. But only because Edgar didn't tap and got the decision win. Griffin will be ready to end the win streak of Tavares - the scond best "tiago" in the UFC. Griffin by Submission, neck crank in round 2.

Uhm...the rest of the fights suck. And won't be shown anyway. Unless Forrest actually dies in the ring. Which might happen.

the iceman vs. the dean of mean is a tale of teo brawlers. I'll take the iceman with a second KO, only because in the 1st round both men will be a little timid, but chuck will turn it on and knock him into June.

Liddell v. Jardine: Liddell has been spotted partying nonstop and showed up to weigh ins with his biggest gut in some time, aka Vintage Chuck. Jardine has showed up in better shape than ever and is embracing the underdog role...too bad Greg Jackson's Camp has been terrible in the past year. I don't think the streak stops for Jackson's, but the fact that Chuck hasn't altered his training regimen also scares me. Chuck by unanimous decision in a boring fight that hurts both men.

Shogun v. Griffin: I'm a hardcore Chute Boxe fan, but I'm going Griffin. Shogun has been in limbo moving to the USA and showed up extremely small for 205. Griffin is now at the best camp in the world, arguably, and looked HUGE at 205 during weigh-ins. The guy had a 20-pack. I'm just not convinced Shogun is the same fighter after Mark Coleman broke his arm...and I love picking upsets. Griffin by 2nd round TKO

Fitch v Sanchez: Too close to call. I'm also liking a split decision victory...but for whom? Fitch showed he's human against Roan Carnero, but he also showed he's extremely resilient and out grappled a BJJ black belt. Sanchez showed his striking is extremely overrated. Again, Jackson's camp is struggling. Fitch by split decision.

Nakamura v. Machida: What the angry guy said a few posts above me. Machida is going to bore Nakamura to death. 3 round unanimous decision...possibly 30-26.

Tavares v. Griffin: Fight of the night right here. I think Tavares steals it. He looked damn good against Jason Black and I think Griffin only excels at fighting slower guys. Tavares by flying armbar (YES), 3rd round.

First, I gotta say. Watching the fights in HD is INSANE. I love it.

Ok, the griffin - tavares was crazy, just as I thought it would be! I picked griffin to win, and he did. These are the fights I LOVE. The technical, chess match BJJ battles. Screw punching battles and knockouts, that's what boring boxing is for. Submissions, punches, grapping, that's MMA baby!

I think Liddell is gonna destroy Jardine. It's a perfect fight for chuck as shifty said earlier. I do think he's going to take the fight lightly though, which could cause an upset, but on paper, Liddell is an easy pick for this fight.

Griffin vs Rua - I gotta go with griffin just because he's a stud. I love the guy, he's got heart, and he's got the skills. I think most people are gonna pick Rua, but I think the switch to UFC rules is really gonna mess with his game. Just like my henderson prediction, this is not a knock on Rua, I just gotta go with my gut, and coincidentilly one of my favorite fighters, Forest Griffin.

Sanchez vs Fitch - Fitch all the way. I'm not going to go into detail, but I think the only ones rooting for sanchez are his family and those that don't really follow the sport. Sanchez conjures up a lot of four letter words when I think of the guy. He's just a total fool, as shifty alluded to earlier. I honestly hate the guy and I'm glad that he lost to koscheck(sp?) (even though koscheck is just as much of an ***). I also tend to agree that Fitch is supremely underrated.

I don't know much about nakamura or machida, so I won't comment on this one, though as always I hope for a good fight. I just saw the intros though and nakamura came in to some weird stuff...an umbrella? And what's with his hair....are they still doing the bowl cut in japan?

I don't really care about the other fights, so no commentary on them either. So far, the griffin - tavares fight was worth the price of admission alone, hope the rest of the card keeps it up!

I'd just like to announce, forest griffin is a pimp. Hands down one of my favorite fighters.

Also, I didn't know Randy broke his arm in the last fight...44 years old, breaks his arm during a fight and still defends the title. The moniker of Captain America couldn't be more fitting.

The brain of everyone and anyone that knows anything about MMA just exploded.

Every MMa site is down right now. I'm not kidding. This upset is monumental.

When will these Pride guys figure out that they're fighting actual fighters in the UFC, not tomato cans.

*sigh*

Edit: The world has officially ended.

Tyson griffin, he's a lightweight. Pretty good fighter too.
