at these camps i understand there are many sick players who instantly stand out. but if you are also good and a smart player, will you get lost in the mix of all of the kids who attend, or will you atleast get some sattisfying looks?

i went to nike bluechip. i would say they look for the unslefish players who also are scoring goals. but obviously if your taking it all the time and scoring. that catches their eye. but say you taking it all the time and not scoring much. that looks bad. be unselfish.

i always get confused with the nike blue chip camp one is invitational only and you can not send anything to try to be asked and then there is also one where you sign up for?

which is the one that you can sign up for?

ya i am a soph this year and want to get in...i am pretty sure a d1 coach has to reccomend you to jake reed the old coach of mcdonogh, the one you sign up for is blue chip 225, its at fairfield college in conn.

i dont know i play attack? but ya you just sign up for the camp, its like $600, and its pretty much a showcase...but my best guess on defense would be to talk a lot and get your slides down.

You are correct. The Blue Chip 225 Camp is so-so-avgerage.

coaches have not received the recommendation forms yet according to an email my son received from one of the coaches who runs it - he told him a couple weeks and they'd be out

your high school coach needs to get the recommendation forms and fill them out, then you get an invite - usually if you have your money in by january you should be good
