Can anybody recommend me some good portable speakers/ stereos? I need them to not have to get plugged into an outlet, like they just work off of an ipod battery or something. I need to be able to plug and mp3 player/ ipod into it. It needs to be loud with good sound quality. Preferably under $100.

I hear the jbl on stage II are pretty good. They're $130.

I saw a pair that looked pretty good on thinkgeek.com . They are specifically for nano's though.

my friend has one that is pretty decent i forgot what its called but it plugs into the headphone port

Virgin Electrics Boom Tube.
A tube that separates into 4 speakers. Rechargeable Battery and Very nice sound.

I got the memorex imove from target. Its like a portable boombox radio thing thats perfect for what the team needs.
