it looks ok, but irish said it, it's just a non-offset abyss. I think i'll be sticking with my sentinel and possibly sentinel pro

i wish it had a bit of offset....it looks like a huge piece of plastic....like it could be a bit on the heavy side

definitely looks heavy, but i still like the looks of it. it's totally worth a shot.

70 bucks for a head that takes the ebst of the sentinal and puts it in a traditional face shape, sounds like a good deal to me.

What's so great about the traditional face shape?
It's slightly smaller than the newer oval designs, it's heavier...really I don't know why the traditional shape has survived.
And more to my point, look how small the stringing holes are for the top string, that's like the STX goalmaster (which for 40 bucks is a much better deal). It also irks me that the adidias symbol appears to be molded into the head right where the ball would make contact. Just because its adidas people seem to be jumping all over it.
Edit and what about the sentinel? How does this head remotely even look like the sentinel?

i like it looks like a lighter version of the goalmaster or a non offset version of the nemi.
i dont see the point of heads like the eraser or the money of the abyss 2.0 with a severe curve to them, unless some one can actually explain what makes off set so great in a goalie head.
Im interested but still it does seem pricey

offset just makes for better ground ball pickup because the scoop is angled. it also looks nasty.

You do realize they hired lacrosse experts to develop the equipment line. I know Trevor Tierney works for them, and I'm sure some other big names do too.

i dont like how they feel how they have to incorporate their logo into everything, if im not mistaken they have their logo as their sidewall design on the three new heads coming out this year, be a little more original.

it's all about branding
they want to drill it in as many times as they can

Yes, but they didn't start out that way. They were equipment companies first who were bought be shoe companies.
And, BTW - Nike is an example of a company who has been somewhat successful in the equipment biz, at least in golf - the rest they've acquired (e.g. Bauer for hockey)
