I had my first Fall league game last Sunday and I did horrible. I didn't know where to go and who to cover. I usually know because experienced Defence partners help me out but in my team they don't communicate at all and I'm the noobie so I can't do much. I read the D-tips thread many times but I never read in that when and when not to cover your man. Please help out any help would be appreciated.

Depends on what kinda of defense you're playing. Zone? Man? Once you've talked it over and confirmed with the other defenders what kind of defense you're running, then you'll be better off. As long as you understand the concepts of Zone and Man. And eventually it'll just sink in, you just need to play smart, play with your head and you can figure things out.
And if they aren't talking, then initiate the talking.

yeah.
basically if your playing man follow that guy unless a switch is called and stay hip to hip with him if he gets the ball and seems like he is about to go and try and beat you, remember never let your man beat you to the middle let him have the ally then play good D from there. Call slides and help if you need it and talk talk talk... thats what i've been told anyways.
