View Full Version : Need a workout routine

I'm 16 years old, 5'7 140lb. I have been lifting for about a year in the gym and using dumbbells at home. I have been using different workout programs ie: 4 set 10 squats, 1 set 50 lunges, 8 sets of 20 calf raises, 4 sets of 20 curls, 4 sets of 10 benches etc. all different variations. I have no idea if these are working, i want one that is dependable, and works well. I plan on lifting 4 times a week. legs and arms alternating days. also... do protein shakes work well because after my workouts I sip a glass of whey protein to gain weight. sorry if there is already a thread about this because i couldnt find one.
