How about setting up regional forums? For example, New England or Northeast, Mid Atlantic, West coast, etc.
Just a thought.

Wouldnt work. Not enough traffic in each one.

im saying the majority are from the east coast. im pretty much positive, seeing that the lacrosse scene is so much larger on the east, the majority of users are there.
there are a few westcoast kids(like me reppin the [1904]) there isnt an overwhelming amount of us.

The only way I could see this working was if sub-forums were created in the Highschool and General Men's Forum that separated into Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and West.
Doubt that would happen though. Too much bandwidth use for not enough traffic. Waste.

The High school Forum essentially already divides itself by state & region as the majority of the active threads focus on lax played within certain state or regional systems (understandably for a guy whose name delineates he's at the Master's level, there is only so much that forum can offer you if you aren't in your local HS lax programs). Likewise there are a few threads in the General Men's Forum that do strive to focus on specific states/regions as well, some more successful or longer running than others. But to create sub forums would (as mentioned above) only really create forums that would seldom see traffic outside of one or two active threads. Search around and try and find some of the regional threads that are out there and definitely contribute to them, or start one if you can't find one pertaining to the area you're looking to discuss.
