I don't like rap music for the most part but I do like eminem...he's one of like 3 main stream rappers that I do like. He's not so serious and he doesn't act like he's a gangster or anything his songs for the most part r just funny and a good time. I mean some of the things he says are funny and he has a good sense of humor in his videos and everything.

Michael Jackson used to be the man. His old songs were amazing and he is one hell of a dancer but now he is just a joke. i never listen to rap. just dont like it. b/c they all rap about girls, platinum teef, how they are gangsta and came from the ghetto. it just gets old. but i do like eminem for some reason. i think he is funny and his songs are pretty catchy. his new one is pretty annoying tho w/ that laughing. i dont mind rap as long as it doesnt include the above stated reasons, but it always does. and btw, when i say i like eminem, i mean that if i see his video on t.v. or catch his song on the radio i'll listen to it....by no means does it mean i will buy the cd. if i brought a rap cd into my house, my dad would kick my @ss.

eminem's new song is not supposed to be taken so literally, i cant believe no one can see that. he always has a song or two that is really goofy and silly and is meant to be dumb. has anyone actually listen to an entire album? eminem is one of the greatest writers out there right now. period. he is a genius with a pen. very good lyricist and a very precise artist. (if you cant tell by now i am a fan) but if you hate rap youre not gonna take time to understand what im saying so its like im talkin to myself.

also, MJ was the man in his day. musically, no one will ever be able to come close to the performer he was. he is the greatest performer/musician/dancer ever. im in no way condoning (sp?) what he has done outside of his music tho. and no one here who is a fan of music can hate on him b/c he has changed the game for everyone and influenced so many other artists.

1. Michael Jackson will always be The King of Pop. Don't mess with The King of Pop.
2. The next person to say "rap sucks" will... be stupid. Haha.. okay. So that didn't strike fear, but it's all opinion, folks.
3. Eminem has a LOT of talent. An incredible amount. I would compare him to the like of Pac and Biggie; his style is just different. He has a very anry, spiteful style that you can't disagree with because it's his ****ing style. He's not going to rap in a way that will make you happy (on purpose). He's just expressing whatever.
4. Michael Jackson is the bomb. Or used to be. But he's still The King.

Alright, while i will give him props as to being a good artist, i don't think he is great.

He lacks that fine quality that lets you move from "Really really good" to Great.

I think it has something to do with the fact that everything that he does, someone else has already done. Like i said: good, but not great.

I don't respect him though as much as i do other artists though.

As far as Eminem goes, I think he's pretty rad. People really take him too literally. I dont even find it possible to take some of the things that crazy white boy says. And yea, mad props to Laxergirl.
