under, under, under, thats how i did it in my P2 and it looks like all the other parts, just with 3 links on one part.

You would go under, under, over if I'm not mistaken. That's how I do 'em.

For tripling up with interlocking, I go under twice then interlock.

honestly though why triple up? stretch the mesh better then just double up

Triples work especially well after a tight interlock or Love Knot to create a defined channel, and to help the ball sit right under the channel.

exactly. i triple up once in many of my heads, especially when ive interlocked fairly far down the head

I would try either going [under, under, under] or [over, over, over], just because I think that this would be more consistent. The only problem with this is that I believe the mesh will bunch up. I haven't really ever tripled up, however, so I don't know much about it.
