I was cleaning my room and found my old Gait DB 1000 shaft in blue,
I honestly do not like Colors shafts so i decided to sand the color off.
I have gotten about 1/6 of the shaft, but im trying to find a easier way to get rid of the paint...Any suggestions?

what are "Sand Blaster"?
Honestly, i've been using the light sand paper
for about good 1 hour(because i had time to kill)
and i probably got only one side that's about 7-8 inches..

A sand blasting machine wills strip it off. It's a machine that shoots particles of sand out of a nossle (like a pressure washer almost) at a really high speed.

sounds vicious, but i doubt i have any of those lying around in my house or in the basement. Any other suggestions? Im sort of in the ball park looking for like cleaning products that allows it to peel off easier..

your best bet is to keep using the sand paper...just get a coarser grit so it will take off more paint in a shorter amount of time. This is however leave a rougher texture on your shaft. After you get all of it off, use a finer grit like 220 or something like that to make it smoother, but if you like it a lil more grippy then your golden. Another way to speed it up is to get an orbital sander. It's got a round disc on the bottom that the paper sticks to. But be careful using power tools n what not because it might wear down the metal to much in on spot if you leave it in one spot. Also try paint thinner, but do it outside cause that stuff reaks!!

Paint thinner won't remove it. Its a thin foil wrapped around the shaft with a lacquer on it. Sand paper is the way to go. Try maybe using a sand sponge (has two different grits)-they're $2-$3 at Home Depot/Lowe's.

lacrosse shafts are anodized, you can use Drain-0 but it will expose the raw aluminum and it will get weaker. i know people do this with certain paintball parts to strip the anno from the aluminum... sanding works but it is taking more aluminum off
