ok i know this has been posted a ton but nothing really answers my question


since i started playing goal, listening to hardcore music pumped me up and i played really well

but then last weekend we had a game an hour away and i listened to music the whole time by myself on the bus and i sucked that game.

the next game i didnt listen to music at all and i had an amazing shutout

well my question is i have another game with another hour bus ride and im wondering whether to just talk with my teammates or to sit by myself and focus on the game
im thinking maybe an hour is too long to get ready, so i might do half and half

any thoughts?

man just relax, do your thing and dont think so much, just react, its about consistency as a player and your ability to maintain it.

yeah i used to think music effected me but i just realized that if i relax calm down on and focus on the game and you will be fine and maybe you just had a bad game dont blame it on the music

dude you can listen to the most emo rocked out music or you an listen to the most relaxing music ever or you can listening to nothing and just relax..thats all relax main thng for a goalie to focus on, once you let one in ur not relaxed anmore andf you start getting mad at yourself and teamates and then you let goal after goal in so the main thing is RELAX

dude its a bunch of things some nights your body is just on more then other music and all that is just all superstition two of the best games i ever had one i listened to some rob zombie b4 the game and the other i finished warm-ups early and my coach told me to just sit in the goal and chill out
