I could not find anything on the site about this but if there is let me know. I'm restringing my Torque and no matter how I make my knot, it is never large enough and always pulls through the hole. If someone could tell me of a good, thick knot to use and how to make it that would be great. Thanks

Tie the knot around the hole itself. Like wrap it around then tie it off if you understand what i'm saying.

What rynolax is trying to say is that you need to tie a tight know around the outer bar, as if you would tie a rope around a pole. This is probably the best method for stringing a torque.

if its for your first knot in the walls...do what rynolax said and you wont have a problem. I have 2 torques n it works every time

I like to do a figure 8 knot and then an overhand knot. An overhand is the most basic knot, just over itself and through the loop. A Figure 8 is an overhand with an extra loop.
http://www.iland.net/~jbritton/figure8.htm this is a good picture of a figure 8 knot.

I've strung many torques. I do a double knot and then wrap the string through the hole and around the mesh twice. It fills the hole in well. I do this for the topstring as well. I've never had a knot pull through and the mesh is nice and tight up top and in the corners.

I have seen people use a plastic bead like that you would get at a craft store to stop the knot from pulling though on some of the larger holes of a torque. I thought that was quite inventive.
