need to know the sidewall pattern for an eclipse with hard mesh. trying to do a goal-ex style pocket. pocket towards the middle. help....

with 17d? thats just not happening with 17d...you need 20d or 12d to do a goal-ex.

17d? let me go check on my stick real quick and see wats the deal.....

yea its 17d. there has to be a way. i want to take out my runners. and close up the sidewall. im just trying to get a channel in it cause the mesh is a mesh-mess right now

EHS is right, you need 20D or 12D. if you try it with 17D, you'll be playing with a tennis racket. as for the sidewall pattern dealing with any mesh, i have no idea

wats funny is when i tried it with 12d, it was like a tennis raquet. funny.

then pound it and double up, I'm looking at my eclipse 12D right now and it's a little more than 2 balls deep. funny.

you probably didnt double up at all with the 12d....look at the 12d in my photobucket that i posted last month, try and copy it. if you still want to use the 17d with runners, look at am17's no-rebound eclipse in his webshots, its a sick pocket.

ive been having trouble stringing my eclipse, the pocket always comes out lopsided and tiny, ill have to try laxgoalieking's style

I had the nicest closed 17Diamond in my pocket three years ago. I believe it was Warrior hard mesh, and my secret was that is skipped about 6 or more diamonds between the last two holes. It was amazing, but the head broke and I've never been able to replicate it.
