so i thought that some of my stringings werent really up to par,

turtle shell in an answer (first one I've tried)

That looks really nice. But of course, work on the twists. They are starting to coil on some of them. I am really liking the look of it though. Nice choice on the channel!

Also, not an authentic turtle rule here but I prefer to do the double knot on the sidewall. Your sidewall knots can move and shift a bit, where as the double knot would have locked it in place and kept it from shifting.

thanks, keeping the twists clean was hard becauase i did SO many of them. but i'll keep working on it

It's not terribly loose, but the next go around try and make it a little more tightened up.

I say great job for a first stab at it.

Great job for a first try, but needs a little work.

-Make the twists more "twisty", they look a little like coils in places.

-Keep everything tight.

-Do what chs said when attaching the crosslace to the sidewall, it will give you a much better feeling pocket.
