What is the worst thing you've done? This can be a simple poke check that goes bad or fight, what was your story!
I'll start off Im playing in a fall lax game when the other team comes down on a fast brake. I picked the man up and he dumped the ball off and while he was passing the ball of I threw a poke check! i turned around and herd the wistle and the kid was crying so hard and the 10 minutes later an abulence came and took him to the hospital after the game they told i fractured his rib and pushed his one of his ribs into the one above it! lol

I was trying out for a fall select team and there was two fields and I had to get noticed to make the Elite team, so with in the first posession, this freshman was driving up GLE and I was covering the Top Left midi and I slid 20 yards to coma slide the attackman. I gave the kid a concussion, he didnt know where he was. I didnt even appogise after I hit him, i just walked away. I still dont feel bad about doing it today

Two weeks ago, I was at Slippery Rock 7v7 Bigshot Tournament. I was about to rip a shot on run and I did... It turned out some defender got in the way and the ball hit his helmet. It went up about 20 feet above the ground. I am not sure if it hit his helmet hard but I am pretty sure he felt the impact.

My teammate was at X and the goalie was facing him and therefore had his back to the rest of the field.
My guy at X fed me the ball and i shot it quickly, the goalie didn't turn around quick enough and it got him in the back, effectively breaking 3 of his ribs. The ball trickled in and i just went back to wait for the face off. The opposing coach was more upset that I didn't care than that his goalie was down and out

In a tournament in Atlanta me and the two other attacks did a "rotation" or some call it a Hopkins play, were we all shift into a triangle, and then rotate to the right when a midi calls the play, after my rotation from left attack to X i caught the ball, i then circled to my right were i passed the ball to my teamate were then i got a defender come and drill form my blindside. The ref didnt call anything and started to argue with him and then the defender comes up and pushes me away from the ref then i tackled him to ground, I then got suspended from the tournament for 2 days.... I have no regrets

one time this kid had been checking the crap out of my ankles so during the next drill (a riding drill) i slammed his stick, it flung into his crotch and tripped him. His helmet had a crack from impact. Also, I think you guys are just mean, when i hurt a guy, i feel bad. for m, DLax, you wouldnt feel bad if that concussion ended his lacrosse career. that's just mean

Chipped teeth and a broken nose, kid thought he could fight.
Or the time when I cut through the middle and gut shoved into the goalie, the goalie must've not been ready for the impact because he went down in a heap and stayed down, not sure what happened to that tendo, but I think it was some sort of leg injury.

broke a few of his ribs and gave him a serious case of shortness of breath, and then got into a brawl with the rest of his team. But now he knows to keep his head up on ground balls.

Mine isn't as bad as any of yours, clearly the ref had no sense of humour... First, I was playing defence from running back to prevent a fast break, this kid slashed me in the neck. So I turned around when ref was looking and slashed him in the ankle, got a 4:00 min. pentaly for that... but as I'm heading to the box, some of the teams players that got kicked out earlier were yelling at me from the stands, I turned around and did the ol' WWE international sign for "Suck it", our bench thought it was halarious... the ref did not.
I got kicked out of the game, plus 3 more games. In total I got 27 penalty minutes.

this kid was throwing cheap stuff at me and was talking smack. so i passed the ball and got checked into the ground from behind. (btw the refs were calling anything. literally) so i got up a threw a right hook and knocked him off his feet. and we i just kept throwing punches. then my coach called me off and the kid tackled me. but the other coach got him off. im not proud but it was sixth grade. and btw for people who dont feel bad about hurting someone, i dont ethier. if that person did the same thing to you, your not gonna feel bad that they did it. i would feel bad if it was cheap. but if its a serious injury i say im sorry man, nothing personally i just did what i do. but i dont destroy people alot so i dont say that often

During one game I broke a kids hand. I don't even remember it at all but everyone says I did it. During the same game one of our players took a shot and either the ball or his stick hit the player in the ribs and it messed him up he started coughing up blood and finally one of our was going for a ground ball and an opponent stood over his stick and he picked him up partially off of the ground. yes he did get a penalty

I almost broke a kid's wrist. I was playing dmid and he rolled back and I stepped to him and hit his wrist instead of his stick by accident with my titanium shaft. I felt so bad (I have broken my wrist in the past and know how much it sucks) until I saw that he could turn it.

lol did you fight him with your helmet and gloves, cause if you did then you probably did very little to no damage.

I was playing defense as a middie and i was covering the crease man. the offensive player from up top beat his man so i had to slide. I hit him so hard that he flew back and landed on his wrist...it snapped.

Mine's pretty easy, at a tournament a week ago, I was playing for one of my club teams and we happened to be playing against another one of my club teams. Near the end of the first half one of my other team's attackmen gets the ball at X, I go out to play him, my first check drills him right between glove and the arm pad(His thumb started turning blue a little later).
Then after the half I go in on LSM, first play of the half, a different teammate he's bringing the ball down off of a faceoff, again my first check, same spot(He got a pretty nasty bruise).
Then, a little later in the half, I was on LSM again, another guy and I are scrumming for a ball off a faceoff, he has a step on me, I threw a wrap check, AND I HIT HIM IN THE SAME DAMN PLACE!!!! That check ended up breaking his wrist. I felt so bad, because they're all my teammates.

My freshman year of college, we played club ball. We managed to get in a fight (as in helmets and gloves off) amongst our own team. I didn't start it, but I sure got some of it. Some how they didn't can the team.

On the field we play at in Hawaii people line up almost right on the sidelines opposite the bench.
There was about one minute left in the game and some attack man from the other team was dodging around with another defender on my team out by the sidelines. when he turned his back I slid to try and pressure the ball. Right as I got to him he rolled back right into me and I hit him sqaure in the chin with the bottom of my helmet ( I like to get low) and knocked him into a group of 5 girls on the sideline. He ended up with a concussion and couldn't figure out where he was, I just walked back to the crease to watch the trainers attend to him. The lucky thing for me is that I knocked him into 5 out of the 6 girls in a group on the sideline, the one i missed happened to be my girlfriend. lucky me.
oh and I do not feel bad at all, its part of the game.

I've done 2 things...
1) I went for a groundball about five yards off the crease.. I picked up the ball, right after that I took a check and hit the ground. The ball rolled into the crease. The goalie tried to rake the ball and he messed up and the ball ended up rolling toward me, as I was getting up the goalie came out of the crease. There was a defender right in my face. I called man and my teammate called man on the goalie. After leveling both of them I picked up the ball. On the way to ball I stepped on that defenders leg. Fracturing his knee cap and tearing a ligament.
2) I was playing midi and I carried the ball into the box and was going to take it all the way. I got slapped in the face with wrap check. After poking the opposite corner I turned to the defender and said you could probably stop me if you played alittle dirtier... He hit me into back with his stick and then threw it like a javilen, missing my head by like 4 inches... I ran up to him grabbed his face mask ripped off his helment and started beating the brains out of him. The fight resulted in both benches being cleared and a fight in the stands... Not to mention this happened 1:25 into the game try called the game and we won 1-0.
Probably wasted 400 peoples money.

Mines not all that great, in high school, we played club high school and it was in Illinois so all the schools were just getting into the sport around me. well me and a friend thought it would be funny to make our own wooden shafts just to try and during one of our games (i played midi) and i was on D. i checked the kid right between the elbow and the glove and broke my wooden shaft on his arm. i cut up his arm pretty bad, i guess like 20+ stitches, but after it happened i looked at him and was more pissed that he broke my shaft than he was about me messing up his arm

Worst thing I have done was break two kids hands during the same faceoff. Didn't even realize I had done it till we were shaking hands at the end of the game, the two guys were at the end of the line with ice packs over their swollen hands.
Second worst thing I have done was during a game my senior year I legitimately tripped the attackman I was guarding and the ball came loose. At the whistle I started walking to the box (yea it was that obvious of a trip). Anyway a player from the tripped kid's team started walking up to me talking crap. I didn't even wait for him to put his hands up - I punched him where he didn't have any pads - right in the throat. Yup, he stopped quick and I got some extra time in the penalty box.
The worst thing I have seen was completely accidental. At the midfield line the clearing midfielder got stick checked so hard that the shaft splintered into a ton of pieces. One long piece of metal flew through the air and through the helmet of the kid who checked the midfielder. 4 inch piece of metal went an inch into his face right next to his eye. Fortunately there was a doctor on the sideline who wrapped enough gauze around the kids head to stop the bleeding. Freakiest accident I've ever seen on the field.
