I've got a group of brand new HS players, mostly 9th graders, but all are picking up the sport for the first time. I've got an hour a day to work with them, but school rules are no pads and obviously no contact. Sticks and balls only.
I'm teaching the basics of passing, catching, cradling, ground balls, etc. and we're doing a lot of wall ball, line drills, hamster drill, and relay races for cradling. The problem is that it's getting old, and I'm looking for some new activities that I can do without contact that will teach the fundamentals of the game.
Any ideas out there?
