I wore slidin shorts with a cup when I played in goal. For you guys who dont sliding shorts ARE compression shorts, just with like a quarter inch padding not even, so u dont rip up ur thighs when you slide in baseball. I just wore em cause' I had em but they worked. Go for it.

i wear sliding shorts when i play in games, but not when i coach, they do have a pocket for a cup and some of them have some padding on the hips. definatley recommended.

hey, and at least it proves that baseball itsnt TOTALLY worthless

i wear them to hold my cup. UA makes a good pair. It also helps if you take a shot in the meat of your thigh

and the cup pockets... which imho is what makes them better than regular compression shorts, (i havent found the extra padding to be all that useful)

ya the padding will do absolutely nothing...its so thin itd be better to put a piece of paper into compression shorts and use that as padding, altho it def does help the comfort level i find
