Peanut Brittle Protein Shake This is a delicious favorite I discovered quite by accident as I sat staring at my "boring" vanilla protein powder and wanting something sweet. This mimics peanut brittle only in taste. It won't send your blood sugar soaring and it's a fun way to get in some healthy unsaturated fat. Ingredients: · 2 scoops vanilla protein · 1 tbsp sugar-free instant butterscotch pudding mix, dry · 1 tbsp natural peanut butter, chunky · 8 oz. cold water or lowfat milk. · 3-6 ice cubes Directions Add all ingredients to blender, blend, and serve. I like to add the peanut butter in last so it stays a little chunky, just like the peanut brittle it is replacing. Nutritional Information for added ingredients (excludes milk & protein powder): Per Serving: Calories - 108 Carbs - 6 g Protein - 4g Fat - 8 g Fiber - 1g The Hulk Ingredients: · 2 scoops vanilla protein · 1 ? tbsp sugar-free pistachio pudding mix · 1 mint leaf or a few drops peppermint extract (optional) · 1 few drops green food coloring (optional) · 8 oz. cold water or low-fat milk · 3-5 ice cubes Directions Add all ingredients to blender, blend, and pour into cup. This tastes great without the mint so don't worry if you don't have it around. The shake is a light green even without the food coloring but if you want it green (like The Hulk!), you'll need a few drops. I actually use some of those recipes on a regular basis. I usually use the Peanut Butter and Chocolate one (I call it a Reese's Shake), the Berry Good Shake/ Wild Berry (I call it Mixed Berry Shake), the Pina Colada Shake, and the Tropical Shake. Again, very good job. I am going to try some of the shakes right now. Actually I'm going to print out all of your recipes so I have them. Thanks a lot. Edit: Sorry i didn't realize that you took the recipes from bodybuilding.com. (I thought you made them all up) Edit 2: Rasberry Chocolate Shake + 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder + 1 cup of milk + 6 ice cubes/or a banana (for texture) + 8 rasberries Fruit Shake + 1 cup of Orange Juice + 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder + 1 hand ful of blueberries, strawberries, rasberries (any berries you like) + 1 banana + Anyother fruit you would enjoy Enjoy Guys! |

There are a few that have them but you would need to adjust them according to how much calories are in the brand of ingredients you use. I will post them to the ones I have and the ones which I will post tomorrow will have the calories/fat/protein/carbs. *Nutritional facts of the ones I have are up in the first post.* |

eat a nice big steak, it tastes a hell of a lot better than a shake, and you wont pull your hair out over a new shake recipe. But shakes do help, but only as a supplement, it is essential that you eat properly to get any real benefit out of the protien/work-out routine. you need to consume the rest of the nutrients that your body needs, and sadly, protien shakes dont have them. i think that if you need to have any more than 75-90 grams of your protien comming in shakes(probably less, but what ever) then you arent gonna get stronger and gain weight cause you arent eating enough.

This is good for people that laso need to gain weight, like me.
My favorite protien shake is... Vaniller Shake Open your blender and take out a banana. Cut it up and toss it in your blender. Then take some vanilla ice cream, and put 1-3 scoops into the blender. Then take out some milk, and oour some into the blender. The milk:ice cream ratio depends if you want is thinner or thicker. More ice cream less milk for thicker and vice versa. Then you put in the vanilla protein powder, you can out in as much as you like. Blend and serve. Ingredients Banana Ice Cream Milk protien powder It's not great, but it works for me right now. |

The only one I know of is protein with liquid and mix. Most of these recipes call for a blender. I do not remember any off the top of my head either.

It depends on how much protein you already take. My whey protein right now asks for 2 scoops (45g protien) and that is how much I use in my shakes. If you are using 1 scoop, then add 1 scoop.

These are the homegrown reciepes that you definately won't find anywhere else and probably wouldn't try if you knew what was best for your long term health. And I have consumed all of these, I don't just dream them up. I also bottle my own hot sauce if anyone wants a receipe.

The Wister's Starbucks Shake Ingredients: · Mix 1-2 scoops of Chocolate Protein with: · 1 Starbucks bottled frappuccino (vanilla or mocha) · ~1 cup of water Mmmmm, carbs plus protein! The Wister's Everything Shake (AKA the garbage shake) Ingredients: · Mix 2~3 scoops of Chocolate Protein with: · .5 cup of skim milk · .5 cup of chocolate milk · 1 cup of ice cream · 2 cups of water · .5 cup of cocoa wheats · .25 cup of grits · 1 shot of vanilla extract · 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup · 1 packet of hot chocolate mix Yes, I know I'm insane!
